Hiking Merit Badge

Scoutmaster Bucky Comments: |
Although not required, Scouts will find earning the Hiking
Merit Badge a lot easier to earn if they already have completed their First Aid
Merit Badge and their 1st Class Rank. First aid and Injury care requirements
for hiking are done in these areas and will make the Hiking Merit Badge much
easier to complete.
The hikes in
requirements 5 and 6 can be used in fulfilling Second Class Rank (2a) and First
Class Rank (3) rank requirements, but only if Hiking merit badge requirements 1,
2, 3, and 4 have been completed to the satisfaction of your counselor.
